My birthday is tomorrow and I will be honest-- I wish that I could just skip it and stay 28 for one more year.

i love birthdays but i am a low key birthday person. i like just celebrating with my family and close friends, doing fun stuff.

Happy Birthday :) I don't usually get overly excited about birthdays unless they include some kind of trip. Last year I celebrated by having a girls weekend/dual bday celebration with about 6 of my lovely friends. It was so fun!

It sounds kind of terrible but I love having people wish me happy birthday! Even if they only know because of Facebook. :) It's nice to have people take a moment of their day to remember me.

Happy Birthday!
My birthday (29 too!) is next week and although I'm not sure about looking forward to my last year in my twenties, I always see my birthday as a fresh start. Kind of a New Years Eve in the middle of the year. I see it as a chance to see where I've come from and to rethink about where I want to go. It is refreshing and the cake doesn't hurt either!

My favorite thing about birthdays is having friends and family over. I always feel warm having everyone around. And everybody brings yummy cheesecake of every kind imaginable. Not the biggest fan of regular cake. So not only is my stomach and taste buds happy, my heart is too.

I like my friends coming over and watching my favorite movies with me. It's fun to giggle at all the characters late at night with them while trying to be quiet. :D

I'm right there with you...I really don't prefer my birthdays. If I could have stayed 21 (of course, so I'm legal) I would have! lol I like going out and doing things with my friends that I normally would...bowling or hiking...things like that. I just enjoy being with some of my closest friends!
Of course, the free things for your birthday aren't bad, either! :)

Happy early birthday! I too dread my birthday but since everyone I know refuses to let me ignore it, I decided to embrace it and have a crazy themed birthday party! (My birthday is May 24) we are going to the local roller skating rink (which I haven't been to since i was 12) and we are having a 70's themed roller skating party! haha I'm gonna fall on my ass. I think the best thing about birthdays is presents and cake, I also enjoy receiving really random cards. I hope you have a great time and enjoy it! :)

Happy Birthday! Guess what? It's my birthday today too. And my brother Ben's birthday. And my brother Adam's birthday. We're triplets, and we're also 29 today. I haven't been feeling to excited to turn a year older, but what I enjoy is going out to a big birthday dinner with my family. It's one of the few times where we can all get together and laugh and catch up.

The magic does go away as you get older:( I just use it as an excuse to get all my friends together and hang out. And the free desert at restaurants doesn't hurt either.
